Telemundo 47 expands Noticiero news segment and celebrates Negro Santos, host of the popular “Santo Domingo Invita.”  At a lively event at 809 Lounge in upper Manhattan attended by Telemundo talent, executives and community friends, Telemundo 47 General Manager Cristina Schwarz recognized Negro Santos, legendary Dominican television host of the popular program “Santo Domingo Invita,” as well as top Dominican bloggers in NYC, including José Zabala (zabalaaldia),  Manuel Pimentel  (thatsdominican), Manuel Ortiz (mannyzoom) and Remo del Orbe (remolacha).

In addition to this terrific tribute to our NYC Dominican community, the event also served to announce the expansion of Noticiero Telemundo 47 news, with the new Noticiero 47 starting at 5:30pm (and as usual again at 6:30pm).
