1.  LinkedIn.com (+LinkedIn app): truly the job hunt “social network.”  If you don’t want a LinkedIn account/profile, just know that there are some pretty compelling statistics why you should – even if you are not looking for work right now.  77% of all jobs are listed on LinkedIn and 48% of all jobs listed are ONLY listed on LinkedIn, which makes this the #1 profile to have on your job search list!

2.  Indeed (+Job Search app by Indeed.com): Has become #1 search engine, easy to use with keywords (e.g. accounting, marketing) and location right on homepage.

3.  Simply Hired (+ Simply Hired and Simply Apply apps): One of the largest job search engines in the world, even aggregates results from other search engines as well as sites and listing across the Web.  Latest addition is “Simply Apply,” an app that lets you apply across mobile devices to jobs listed by over 10,000 employers.

4.  LinkUp (+LinkUp app): Another search engine, but this one targets job postings listed on employer and company sites (so if you want to weed out some of the smaller players, LinkUp is it.

5.  Craig’s List (+Craig’s Job and Craigster apps):  Yes, you can also find jobs on this popular “marketplace,” but be aware of scams.  To make things a little easier (and safer), you can now used Craig’s Job and Craigster.  If you are looking for smaller, local opportunities, worth a look.
